Right now there is a wave of pain that is sweeping over the youth population. As the economy gets worse and families are doing stretched, parents are spending less time with students. Students are free to spend more time away from the home, and are getting educated by friends on how to live their life, morals are being decided and chosen on the fly, in the heart of the moment. We live in a world were at young ages you are having to decide very Adult things. Yet we don’t have the adults around to help make those decisions. This is a time when you really need to make sure that you have people in your life that can help you. People who really care about you. People who really want what is best for you, who are there for you. Ones that you can, “tell it like it is” and they will still be with you.
Pain does a lot of things to us. Pain causes us to think differently then we would normally think. when we are in pain, often our mind will make us not want to be in a place of healing, or pain will make us feel like we are unworthily of being healed, and that those around us who are able to help us heal, are fake. This pain often makes us run from the very thing that we need. At times we know what we need, and know where to get it, but often pain grips us from running to the healer, and running from the healer.
Pulse we must be a place were healing can happen. In this time, we must step up and see that there is pain all around us, people who we would never guess to be in pain, are living a life that is consumed by pain, and the thoughts of pain. Let us be a place a healing.
Let us be a place were everyone feels like they are welcomed and loved on.
